Abstract

The Sakha Republic is the Turkish state farthest from Turkey. Moreover, the Sakha language is the dialect most distant from Turkish, following the Chuvash language. Due to these circumstances, it is observed that the quantity of studies conducted in Turkey on the Sakhas remains low compared to dialects like Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Uzbek, and Azerbaijani. However, with the advancement of technology, access to resources has become easier, and there has been a significant increase in travel to and from Sakha country compared to the past. Perhaps due to these reasons, there has been a recent surge in articles, papers, books, and thesis works focusing on the Sakhas. Various publication assessment studies on the Sakhas have been written to date. Among them, the article titled "Studies Conducted in Turkey on the Sakhas (Yakuts)" by Murat Ersöz is the most comprehensive study evaluating publications made up to that time (2015). This study evaluates books, book chapters, and postgraduate theses prepared in Turkey related to the Sakhas. Since Ersöz's article covers the studies on the Sakhas until the end of 2015, this article focuses on works published from 2016 onwards. The identified studies have been chronologically examined, and the findings are evaluated in the conclusion section.
