Nasreddin Hoca Bibliyometrik Analizi

Abstract

In this current study, it was aimed to analyze the scientific articles on Nasreddin Hodja’s identity and works or that included Nasreddin Hodja’s name in the abstract and keyword section according to the variables of general appearance, year, most cited author, most cited institution, most cited journal, most published country and most repeated keywords. The research is a descriptive study and document analysis was applied as a design. In this context, the researcher conducted a search on the official website of the Scopus database, including the keywords "Nasreddin Hodja" and "Nasreddin Hoca". This screening was limited to article title, abstract and keyword variables. As a result of the searching, 34 articles were reached and analyzed. In the analysis process, the VOSviewer program, which offers the opportunity to visualize scientific data, was used. The visuals obtained from the VOSviewer program are shared in the findings section of the study. As a result of the analysis, it is seen that the most articles were written in 2016 (f: 4), the most cited author is N. Özdemir (f: 21), the most cited institution is Hacettepe University (f: 19), the most published journal is Milli Folklor (f: 18), the most published country is Turkiye (f: 28) and the most repeated keyword is Nasreddin Hodja (f: 15).
