Abstract

The importance of the constructive suffix category, which is one of the ten (10) additional classes of the Turkish language, in terms of language studies is an undeniable fact. Constructive suffixes, which play the most important role in the development of the vocabulary of the language, have contributed to the formation of our rich vocabulary by using them in many different functions in the historical course of the Turkish language due to this feature. This suffix category, which takes on the function of making new words in the Turkish language independently, has been one of the most frequently referenced suffix classes of the language, unlike other categories. Constructive suffixes, which are so important in terms of language, are one of the most important issues that need to be addressed for many different reasons in terms of how they shape the language and what they add to the language in terms of meaning. In this study, Mu‘înü'l Mürîd, which is one of the main works of Khwarezm Turkish, which is in the Middle Turkish period, in terms of the function of an important category such as constructive suffix, formed the basis of the study due to the diversity of language material arising from the complex language structure of the period. In this way, based on this work, the power of word derivation of Turkish in the Harezm Turkish period will be tried to be presented to the attention.
