Eski Türk Dili ve Kültürü Açısından BUGU Dil ve Eğitim Dergisi’ne Bir Bakış

Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate the covers of BUGU Journal of Language and Education in terms of cultural values and to present the articles on Old Turkish Language and culture published in the journal. The 10 cover pages of BUGU Journal of Language and Education, which has a total of 10 issues, were determined as the documents of the research. Document analysis method, one of the qualitative research methods, was applied to the cover pages. Using the same method, the articles published in the journal were classified chronologically. As a result of the research, the cultural values and the articles published on 10 cover pages in 10 issues of BUGU Journal of Language and Education published from 2020 to the present day are presented to the attention. According to the date of publication in the research, the cultural values of “Bugu”, “World and Bugu”, “Turkish World”, “A Coin with Köktürk Letters”, “Teke Stamped Coin”, “Umay”, “Phrases from the Orkhon inscriptions”, “Hunter”, “Kams on Bugu”, “Dede Korkut and Peace” were reached. In the 10 issues of BUGU Journal of Language and Education, it was concluded that 11 articles out of a total of 71 articles were related to the field of Old Turkish Language and the result was expressed graphically.
