Nitel Bir Araştırma Yöntemi Olarak Eleştirel Söylem Analizi

Abstract

Critical discourse analysis is an approach that analyses the effects of language on social structure and power relations. This approach analyses how concepts such as ideology, power and identity are shaped and reproduced through discourses and texts. It also supports social change by revealing injustices and social inequalities. Critical discourse analysts aim to raise social awareness, challenge power inequalities and approach society from a critical perspective. Critical discourse analysis can be applied not only for academic research but also in various fields such as media, politics and education. This emphasises its far-reaching impact and importance. It aims to understand the structure of society and aims for change by conducting studies in which power inequalities are at the forefront. In the present study, the potential and application areas of critical discourse analysis are discussed in detail and it is emphasised how this method can contribute to the struggles for social justice and equality. Critical discourse analysis is an important tool for transforming social structures. Therefore, critical discourse analysis is a powerful academic and practical tool for social change.
