Terim Sistemleri, Dijitalleşme ve Kazak Terim Sözlüklerinin Mevcut Görünümleri Üzerine

Korkut Ata Türkiyat Araştırmaları Dergisi

Abstract

This study generally addresses the theoretical basis of terminology systems and in particular the transition from the paper-based terminology system to the digital terminology system of the Kazakh language. In Kazakhstan, language planning aims to standardize, popularize and expand the areas of use of the Kazakh language. Within the scope of these goals, a typical terminological system formation process is experienced using the basic concepts, terms and definitions of the scientific language. Terminological publications play a leading role in developing terminological norms in these processes. In this article, scanning, compilation and analysis methods were used in the qualitative research model. The lack of an accessible framework for understanding terminology within the framework of the terminological system and definitions in the Kazakh language draws attention. The study aims to provide an accessible framework for understanding terminological data. In order to characterize, understand and compare this framework, there is a need to review printed and electronic data together. Terminological language, narrative and terminological vocabulary and field dictionaries that provide this data have an inclusive role. This study focuses on language planning, scientific language construction and linguistic norms that are effective in the development of the Kazakh terminology system. In particular, an attempt has been made to explain the transition from paper-based terminology infrastructure to a digital-based terminology infrastructure/system in the country with examples from social sciences and health sciences.
